Ideas needed please.

I have decided I want to try and machine quilt the geisha wallhanging quilt I made late last year...... I want to use my new Janome 6500P and see what it (and I!) can do, but I'm unsure what would be the best way to do it... any ideas or suggestions would be gratefully received!

You have certainly been busy! My first thought regarding quilting of this one it to outline the Geisha and then echo quilting outwards. Still thinking about a suggestion for quilting the actual Geisha girl???

Echo quilt the Geisha and Japanese fans all over the rest?

I know it may seem like a cop out but I like both ideas that Julie and Lindi have said. I can suggest a variation, there is a nice sashiko pattern that is clouds, maybe instead of fans as lindi suggested you could use clouds. cheers
