Liam has decided to make a few special origami items for one person who leaves a comment on my blog. He wants to know:
What is the most memorable item you have made, and what made it so special?
We don't know how to 'do' the random numbers, so Liam will be the sole judge....
Good luck!

I made a first communion dress for the first daughter of a next door neighbour, must be 40 years ago now, but the delight on the face of my friend who isnt a sewer was so special.
Liam your origami skills are just amazing, what a talented young man! My most memorable item would be a handmade bear which I gave to my Nan. As my Nan's health declined and she developed dementia she was put into a nursing home. She took Esmeralda (she named the bear) with her and even if she didn't remember anyone else she always remembered Esmeralda and she was her constant companion. Esmeralda was returned to me when Nan died so she is very special to me.
Hello there...I can't resist this competition! I have made many items and usually give them away, but the one item that I made that means the most is an Advent calendar that I stitched when my boys were young...I stitched into the wee hours of the night because I wanted it done for December 1st. Here is a picture of it on my blog:

It was so special because the boys could count down to Christmas by hanging little wooden toys on it...it is getting rather old now, but it has become a family heirloom...(I hope)...
Liam, your origami is amazing and makes me think of all the pieces that are folded in quilting! :)

What fantastic work! Glad to see you back blogging Al!.....hope all is well! Not sure what qualifies to be my most memorable creation, although my 7 yo daughters dress when she was my flowergirl back in 1996 is pretty special and has come to mind. It was a breeze to stitch and I don't recall any unpicking, although that could be selective memories!!LOL
