'Garden Song'

I've just finished this quilt and enjoyed creating it. I donated it to my sons' secondary school to help raise funds at the Christmas in July night held recently.
I had help from fellow Squilters regarding what to include on the label.

Lani's quilt

I really enjoyed making this quilt for my beautiful girl. I used a pattern, from a magazine, but substituted some of our own designs so the quilt would reflect her favourite interests or activities. One of the blocks even contains a drawing Alana created using fabric crayons.

Welcome! Ths is a totally new experience for me, one which I'm sure I'm going to love!

It's autumn here, and most of the leaves have fallen. We spent some time last weekend attacking each other with leaves - as you can see, we had a great time!
Our two youngest loved climbing the big oak trees and collected some acorns to plant - knowing Liam, they will flourish, and hopefully he can use them for bonsai in a few years.
